Dr. Janice Johnston, founder of Arrowhead Health's Skin Cancer Screening Clinic, graduated from The University of Toronto in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Biophysics, as well as a Master of Science in Neuroscience. She then earned her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Toronto in 1993. Dr. Johnston completed her Family Practice Residency at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, Ontario.

Further continuing her education, Dr. Johnston acquired Certifications in Primary Care Skin Cancer Medicine, Dermoscopy and Dermal Imaging, and Skin Cancer Surgery from HealthCert and the University of Queensland, Australia. Dr. Johnston's ongoing education has led her to a second Master's Degree: a Master of Medicine (Primary Care Skin Cancer Medicine) from the University of Queensland.
