FAMILY PRACTICE :: High Blood Pressure Program
This program begins with a thorough medical evaluation which includes tests for cholesterol particle size, C-reactive proteins (a new marker used to measure risk of early hereditary heart disease), and sensitivity to aspirin. We also recommend an in-house Electrocardiogram to test heart function. If high blood pressure is diagnosed, our treatment plan incorporates exercise and nutritional counseling, regular monitoring, and medication, if appropriate.
